We offer DECO PRIME® surfaces for profiles in thicknesses from 0.1 to 1.0 mm. The thin versions between 0.1 and 0.3 mm are particularly suitable for filigree decorative strips, while skirting boards and structural profiles benefit from thicker versions from 0.5 mm. All material thicknesses are available in the full range of colors and with various surface textures.
Our surfaces offer various bonding options: Special ABS/PVC primers are available for plastic profiles to ensure optimum adhesion during co-extrusion. Our HPL primers are suitable for HPL-based profiles. For mechanical connections such as clamping or rebating, we support you with application-specific recommendations.
The possible bending radii depend on the material thickness and surface treatment. As a rule of thumb, the minimum bending radius is approximately 1.5 times the material thickness. Particularly bend-optimized designs also allow tighter radii. Special coatings such as FL22 are formable and remain crack-free even after severe deformation.
Yes, our DECO PRIME® surfaces are ideal for damp room applications. The anodized and additionally sealed aluminium surfaces offer reliable protection against moisture and common cleaning agents. For particularly demanding environments, we recommend versions with a special FL22 protective coating, which offers additional corrosion protection.
Our metal surfaces can be subsequently processed without any problems. They can be sawn, drilled, milled and shortened without compromising the surface quality at the cut edges. We recommend using carbide-tipped tools for further processing. With professional processing, the surface coating remains intact so that no additional edge protection is required.
