External logistics clerk (m/f/d) full-time
We are the global specialists for multifunctional and decorative thin-film surfaces on strip metals. We have been modifying and refining surface properties on aluminium, copper, steel and stainless steel for more than 50 years. From anodizing and PVD coating to individually developed paint and primer systems, we offer all process technologies – reliably and safely – from a single source. Our high-quality products are used internationally in the lighting, solar, automotive, electrical and interior & exterior industries. We produce on an industrial scale for global markets at our company headquarters in Ennepetal with around 200 employees.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:
Full-time external logistics clerk (m/f/d) as soon as possible
The main tasks of this position include
- Registration of forwarding freight worldwide
- Obtaining freight prices for air freight, sea freight, truck transportation and comparing them
- Cost comparison of forwarding freight
- Preparation and execution of tenders (national and international)
- Preparation of export documents
- Organization and scheduling of worldwide pick-ups
- Tracking the specified delivery dates
- Planning of container deliveries
- Factual and mathematical checking of forwarding invoices
- Handling of courier services
- Handling transport damage
- Data maintenance in ERP + shipping software
- Export and import processing worldwide
- Organization and scheduling of trade fair shipments
Requirements:
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Basic knowledge of logistics is an advantage
- Confident with MS Office
- Willingness to undergo further training in the field of logistics
- Very good written and spoken German
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Impeccable police clearance certificate
