We are the global specialists for multifunctional and decorative thin-film surfaces on strip metals. We have been modifying and refining surface properties on aluminium, copper, steel and stainless steel for 50 years. From anodizing and PVD coating to individually developed coating systems, we offer all process technologies – reliably and safely – from a single source.

Our high-quality products are used internationally in the lighting, solar, automotive, electrical and interior & exterior industries. We produce on an industrial scale for global markets at our company headquarters in Ennepetal with around 200 employees.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:
Employee in Customer Service (m/f/d) full-time
 

The main tasks of this position include

• Comprehensive customer service (answering inquiries, order acceptance, delivery information, quotation preparation and follow-up, customer sampling, complaint processing and much more) in close cooperation with the sales field service
• Independent order processing from order checking and entry to delivery and invoicing (order-to-cash) including deadline tracking
• Acquisition of new customers and development of the sales territory in cooperation with the sales force
• Preparation and processing of customs documents and freight documents
• Coordination of logistics processing from containers to truck transportation in close cooperation with the logistics department
• Follow-up in the event of late payment in collaboration with the accounting department
• Maintaining and monitoring customer data in the ERP/CRM system

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in internal and/or external sales with an international background
• You have organizational talent and communication skills and work independently
• Ability to work in a team, willingness to learn, a high level of comprehension and intercultural skills are among your characteristics
• You are characterized by motivation, flexibility and good customer and service orientation
• Very good written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages an advantage
• Completed vocational training as an industrial clerk or comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge of MS Office products and ERP system
• Impeccable police clearance certificate
