Tasks
Machine and plant operators set up production machines and systems, put them into operation, operate them and are sometimes responsible for maintenance and servicing. They control and monitor the material flow, select materials and production techniques and carry out test procedures.
Prerequisites
- Good secondary school leaving certificate
- Technical aptitude and knowledge of the natural sciences
