DECO PRIME® surfaces for appliances are specially developed for everyday use. The scratch-resistant variants show excellent resistance to household cleaners and mechanical stress. They achieve high abrasion resistance values in laboratory tests according to DIN standards. The surface coating permanently protects the underlying metal from corrosion while retaining its high-quality appearance.
The surfaces are optimized for industrial processing and can be easily integrated into existing production processes. As pre-treated, ready-to-install materials, they can be processed directly – whether by punching, forming or in combination with plastics. For back injection molding with plastics or co-extrusion, we offer special primer systems that guarantee optimum adhesion.
With material thicknesses from 0.1 mm, our aluminium surfaces contribute only minimally to the overall weight of your products. At the same time, clever product designers make targeted use of the natural thermal conductivity of aluminium: In coffee machines or toasters, the controlled heat distribution can ensure more even temperature control, while in refrigeration appliances, heat dissipation can improve energy efficiency. The characteristic cool-touch effect of real metal surfaces also enhances the premium look and feel of your products and creates an authentic tactile experience for your customers.
