For office lighting, we recommend MIRO® 5 or MIRO® 12 HD. The anisotropic structure of MIRO® 5 creates a linear light distribution that is particularly suitable for workplaces. Thanks to its isotropic, highly diffuse reflection, MIRO® 12 HD offers a perfect blend of light that reduces glare and ensures a high level of visual comfort – ideal for modern office concepts with low UGR values.
Our MIRO® and MIRO-SILVER® surfaces are designed for the entire service life of modern LED luminaires. In accelerated ageing tests at 100°C – a temperature that is not reached in normal LED operation – our aluminium-based reflectors show no measurable changes in their reflective properties even after the equivalent of 50,000 operating hours. Plastic reflectors, on the other hand, tend to degrade and yellow after a short time.
Yes, we offer our reflector surfaces in various mechanical qualities. For complex three-dimensional shapes, we recommend our 3D forming grades with increased elongation of ≥ 30%. These aluminum-based materials can be formed by processes such as deep drawing, pressing or hydroforming without compromising the optical properties. We are happy to support you in integrating them into your existing production processes.
We offer various surface structures that are optimized for different light sources and desired light distributions. MIRO® 27 is particularly suitable for point-shaped LED sources with narrow-beam characteristics, while MIRO® 5 is often the best choice for linear LEDs. Our technical team will be happy to assist you with your selection and can also carry out light simulations on request.
