Sodium vapor lamps with improved efficiency

High-pressure sodium vapor lamps are widely used in professional greenhouse lighting. In combination with our MIRO-SILVER® GL reflector surfaces, you can achieve an exceptional increase in efficiency.

The material not only reflects up to 98% of the visible light, but also directs the valuable infrared components specifically onto the plants. This creates an ideal microclimate: the plants are heated directly, while the surrounding air remains cooler.

The result: faster growth, less drying out of the soil and reduced watering costs.

Developed for greenhouse conditions

Even after 1,000 hours of operation under demanding greenhouse conditions, the reflective performance remains stable – with less than 1% decrease. The reason for this: a special protective coating on the aluminium surface. As a result, MIRO-SILVER® GL reliably withstands moisture, temperature changes and the usual chemicals. The surface even withstands aggressive herbicides, insecticides and ripening gases without any problems.
