BROKEN LIGHT
The lighting designers Rudolf Teunissen and Marinus van der Voorden von Daglicht & Vorm Lichtdesign have implemented an extraordinary street lighting concept, in Rotterdam/ Netherlands.
The luminaires consists of two separate lighting units: the first provides for the vertical facade lighting and the second gives a dramatic street-level lighting, providing glare free lighting levels.
Both lighting units were equipped with the highly reflective material: MIRO® by ALANOD. This allows for an energy efficient lighting concept, were all the light is used.
The project “Broken Light” has been awarded many international accolades:
