Laminates in a new light

The laminate of the past was exclusively used as a decorative element. Thanks to our surface coatings and variety, laminates can now also be used as a reflector for daylight and artificial lighting solutions. Luminous wall elements optically widen the room to give a near-daylight impression. This optical dematerialisation can erase the room’s walls and create spatial depth. Wall and ceiling elements made from our decorative, highly reflective aluminium distribute the natural light uniformly (and glare-free) far into the room.

Our wide variety of surfaces, from highly specular to matt, from fine to highly structured, means we can always ensure the right solution. Virtually all surfaces can be treated with a primer on one or both sides. A primer is a bonding layer that is optimally suited for HPL/CPL pressing. The surface can additionally be protected against corrosion using a transparent coating system, so that products can also be used for outdoor applications. Our range of surface coatings is rounded off by various different anodised or coated colours.
